This coat is my own design. I charted out a traditional Scandinavian motif I found in an old Norwegian book of mittens and socks and I’m using the rainbow yarn for both the foreground and background, just in different places in the striping sequence. 10/16/12: I am knitting each piece separately, in the round, with a steek. The back is done and I’m now working on the front.
