My all time favourite poet/philosopher; the disillusioned optimist who never gave up searching for beauty in life & never shied away from calling out those in power who brutalised the weak. There are very few people that I look up; Blake is defiantly one of those few. His wife Catherine Boucher (Blake) also deserves a shout out for her hand in his illustrations. My fav work of Blake's is Song's of Innocence & Experience.

This is one of my two all time fav novels (the other is Heller's Catch 22). Probably one of the darkest & grittiest books I've ever read, which brilliantly unravels the complexities of love. No sweetness & light here. Withering Heights; Emily Bronte.
