Woman’s trousers, Indian; early 1900s.  Materials: silk, embroidered with silk, mirrors.  The delicate floral patterns are typical of fine embroideries from the Kutch district in Gujarat. Shiny mirror discs of various sizes and shapes are intricately attached to the garment and trousers using minute stitches.
