Minton Majolica Pedestal. The yellow and gray green foot seems to be a replacement. The original pedestal has a foot of the same shape but the green band at the top is suspicious and the foot is almost always cobalt blue. This was probably not intended to deceive.

Antique Majolica Tray.....Tin-glazed earthenware is centuries old, but what we call majolica was introduced by the venerable English company Minton’s in 1851. It was a runaway hit with its flower and vegetable shapes with raised and applied elements and features like twig handles. We’re as crazy about it as the Victorians were, and why not?
