The Campbell-Christie House at Historic New Bridge Landing in River Edge, NJ. It was built by Jacob Campbell, a stonemason, in New Milford, NJ, about the time of his marriage to Altche Westervelt in 1774. It stood on land owned by his father, William Campbell, who kept a tavern on the north side of the road. It was slated for demolition but moved to River Edge in September 1977 by Bergen County.
