I was traveling through Guilin, China and came across this nice Cormorant Fisherman. We got to talking and he convinced me that he was, in fact, my long-lost uncle Pepe. At first I did not believe him because:    1) I keep a strict count of the number of uncles I have  2) He is a different race and we share no common ancestry  3) He is as old as my grandpa    ...

Cormorant fishing is a traditional fishing method in which fishermen use trained cormorants to fish in rivers. Historically, cormorant fishing has taken place in Japan and China since about 960 AD.

Ethiopia,  we see all children of the world.. and the face paint is so detailed and meaningful to this trible....

This little boy is from a tribe in Ethiopia who's lands and life style are hidden away from civilization but becoming a tourist destination. It's part of their culture to paint themselves differently each day.
