THE ROMANOVS JEWELRY ~ Diamonds, gold, silver, enamel 1.5 x 1.9 cm 1.8 x 2.6 cm. There are the examples of men's jewelery - diamond tie pins that were converted from rings, probably in the 20s of the 19th century. These two jewels are decorated with rare stones: hot pink, soft pleasant tone oval Indian diamond (3.36 carats) and diamond intense blue diamond (7.6 carats), resembling the color of famous Ceylon sapphire.

The Scroll Cambridge Emerald Brooch, part of the Personal Jewel Collection of Queen Elizabeth II. It is composed of platinum and diamonds, and features two of the Cambridge Emeralds. The brooch and its drop were originally crafted in 1911 as part of the Delhi Durbar Stomacher, but can be detached and worn separately.

Russian Imperial jewelers used it to create a brooch decorated with diamonds. After Maria's death the brooch remained in Russia.

The day before her February 10th, 1840 wedding to Prince Albert, Queen Victoria wrote that she received a gift from: ‘dearest Albert’ of ‘a splendid brooch, a large sapphire set round with diamonds, which is really quite beautiful’. She wore it to her wedding the next day, pinned to the front of her gown.
