Monument to Jean Moulin, leader of the French Resistance in WWII, located in Chartres close to the famous Chartres Cathedral. My grandfather Jean Labiche (a former French Foreign Legion soldier) worked in the French Resistance w/Moulin in Chartres, & it was his hand the statue was modeled from after the war in commemoration.
