John McDouall Stuart Statue was originally sculpted by Herbert Knoll and erected in Darwin’s Raintree Park in 1974. This is the recast. Local artist, Geoff Todd was  commissioned to repair and recast the statue in bronze after the original was destroyed In November 2006 by unknown vandals.
