1985 Yugo. Imported by serial entrepreneur Malcolm Bricklin, this s__-box sold for $3990. It was a mild reworking of the obsolete Fiat 128. Yugos soon became a joke, they broke in every way imaginable, and despite it all they would have remained on the market had war not broken out in Yugoslavia, sadly necessitating the factory converting to munitions production. In the early '00s, Bricklin was at it again, trying to import thinly disguised Yugos under the Zastava Motor Works badge.
