LONG Though the images may look like they were captured at a certain moment as Long was witnessing them, one image in ‘A Line Made by Walking’ featuring two crossing lines that seem to be made by people walking different paths, is actually a constructed image. Long himself wanted to create this as a sculpture piece. Someone might say that is cheating to present it in an image as a photograph, but with the purpose brought forward in it I think it is the opposite.
