Century Scottish Highlanders Basket Hilted Regimental Sword 1828 Pattern, with traditional steel basket and double edged broadsword blade as used in the Thin Red Line

Antique Scottish basket hilted broad sword  , circa 1700

Rare Scottish Regimental Officer's broad sword with 'S' bar hilt. Blade is 30 long and 1 at hilt. Small piece missing on right side of basket. Used at the Battle of Waterloo, Similar to the one in the West Highland Museum, Fort William.

This high quality Scottish basket hilt claymore made by Armour Class in Scotland, features a blade of EN45 High Carbon steel, fully tempered and ready for action. The steel guard has been heat blued while the wood grip is wrapped in natural ray skin dyed blue and accented by a twisted wire inlay. The basket is also partially lined with a dark brown leather pad. Includes a leather scabbard.
