Ottoman (Algeria) kilij, third quarter of the 19th century, damascus steel blade, at the base golden inscriptions and decorations, gilt brass cross-hilt richly engraved with bas-relieved floral motifs, horn grip scales, frame with dedication "5. Mais 1869 Les abonnés du theatre Alges à Ben Aben"; wooden scabbard covered with reptile skin, with gilt brass mounts decorated en suite, dimensions: length 90.5 cm.

Ottoman kilij, 19th century, curved 78.7 cm (31 in.) single edged blade. Brass crossguard of characteristic form. Horn gripscales, the silver sidestraps chased with florals. Green leather-covered scabbard, the brass mounts chased with floral borders.

Ottoman kalij, the high quality damascus crucible steel blade is Persian and inscribed in gold:Amal-e Assadollah (The work of Assadollah) and the other Bande-ye Shah Velayat Abbas (The servant/representative of the king of the country [referring to Imam Ali] Abbas, the handle is most probably of rhino horn slabs, crossguard is typical Ottoman and made of brass, 18th century or earlier blade, mounts 18th to 19th century.

Remembered as a brave and chivalrous officer he died in October 1862.

Moroccan nimcha sword, end of 18th century. Rhino horn hilt, brass guard has 3 quillons. The blade of 81 cm (32,4 inches) has a fuller  and an engraving smith stamp . The scabbard is made with antique local copper and gold alloy engraved with silver flowers on one side. Total length 98 cm (39,2 inches).
