The 1976 Winter Paralympic Games were the first Winter Paralympics. They were held in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden from 21 to 28 February 1976. South Mountain has a slope for downhill skiing that has almost World Cup status, I think. As you can see, the belvedere on North Mountain is much lower, and closer to town.
