1910 - Aleksandr III Equestrian Egg. The egg is carved from engraved rock-quartz crystal. Half the egg is covered with platinum trelliswork and a tasseled fringe,the consoles set with rose-cut diamonds. A large diamond engraved with the year "1910" surmounts the egg.   The lower part of the egg is a platform for a gold model of a statue of Czar Aleksandr III on horseback on a nephrite base with two rose-cut diamond bands. Platinum cherubs support the base of the crystal.
