European Bee Eater

The European bee-eater (Merops apiaster) is a near passerine bird in the bee-eater family Meropidae. It breeds in southern Europe and in parts of north Africa.

I have a Winter Wren nesting in my begonia.  It's so cute and its song is pretty.

A Winter Wren: One of England's Well-Loved Birds! This is actually a Carolina Wren, identified as such by the warm reddish brown back, buffy underparts and white stripe above the eye. This bird is also much bigger than a Winter Wren.
