Feminism < I don't like Kim Kardashian just because I don't, that doesn't mean I'm going gladiator style and pinning the K's against some other people. Because that's stupid too, we're all people.

I think it's about time to stop falling back on the trope of the incompetent husband and to have genuine expectations that a husband can perform household duties, and if they can't, they can learn. https://plus.google.com/+warazashi/posts/d8DxdCMEHBi

Triggers are real! Please respect them!

Gordon fucking Ramsey, the guy whose JOB it is to berate people until they break down on television, understand the validity of trauma-based triggers and is willing to work around them.

I never understood why a lot of women get called hoes and tricks for working at a strip club, but it's nothing if a man is watching them...

Reminds me of a similar quote: if you masturbate to lesbian porn, you are forever banned from denying equal rights to lesbians or any other member of the LGBT community. People are such hypocrites.

"friendzone doesn't even exist. it's just a fucked up by-product of rape culture that some teenage boy came up with and spread online. this idea that men and women can only be potential sex/romantic partners is horribly heteronormative and sexist." -A. And the dysfunctional idea that women "owe" sex to to guys who are "nice" to them.

"So basically, if you use that analogy to excuse rape, you're saying you have less self control...than my tow dogs. That also probably means you should be neutered and kept on a leash"

They were told no, they backed off.

"So basically, if you use that analogy to excuse rape, you're saying you have less self control and fewer basic social manners than my two dogs. That also probably means you should be neutered and kept on a leash"

The War of Southern Aggression: the original "economic anxiety".

The Confederates weren't Americans. Flying the flag is anti-American and treasonous.

A seemingly simple story with a huge moral! I say simple since many of us have been here.

TheBahamianPrincess♚ This Woman’s Story of Harassment Was Familiar To Women, But Men Had a Different Reaction

Preach. This goes for men who get raped too. Yes it can happen. Don't be ignorant. Rape is rape.

Even when someone ADMITS they raped, we still somehow let them off the hook? We can't even put in jail the people who plead GUILTY! And people wonder why women don't report.

But even that is wrong, because one is your chest, the other is your butt, extremely close to your ACTUAL sex organs. Boys doing the same would be boys who have low sides to their shirts, or show close to their nipples, which have the same function as a women, just lesser used. This argument is so idiotic that guys do not even realize HOW their bodies work.

a dumb guy sitting behind me in class said I had to fix my dress because my bra straps(which were barely visible btw) were distracting him!

My mom reminds me of this no matter where I go. It has always been ingrained in me and the few times I've gone to te bathroom alone in a mall or other place like that, I was in fear the whole time

Why I'm Angry

Feminism << that's not even feminism that's basic human rights buddy. Also "gender non-conforming women" is kinda weirdly phrased but whatev

Either way you roll, you shouldn't be shamed, choosing to have sex or not have sex changes nothing

Pro-abstinence sex ed is not only ineffective but also emphasizes shame and ignorance. Young people deserve to know the truth about sex and should be taught that they make their own decisions about their bodies and their sexuality.

Everybody should read this

When I moved to New York City, I had to get used to this behavior real quick. I learned to fight back and shut men down because I refuse to feel uncomfortable in shorts or a crop top for fear that I'll get catcalled. Mess with the cat, get the claws 🐱
