Rocamadour, France is built on a rock in the middle of the Causse de Gramat. This is a vast slate plateau and part of the Causse du Quercy. The city is the most visited pilgrimage site after Lourdes in France.
The Château de Chenonceau is a French château near the small village of Chenonceaux, in the Indre-et-Loire département of the Loire Valley in France. The original château was torched in 1412 to punish owner Jean Marques for an act of sedition.
