magnetic spice jars for small craft items like beads - available $8 for 3 at ikea or $6 for 3 at The Container Store or $10 for 5 at World Market.  Screw a cookie sheet or piece of sheet metal to wall to act as magnetic surface.  Would also work well for sewing supplies like bobbins and pins.

Positive Charge- Use an old toolbox (or any container) as an undercover charging station. Drill a hole in the back of the box to make way for a power strip. Then cover the power strip with a board featuring drilled holes for electronic cords.
