This print from on top of being my very favorite century fashion print, finally shows some practicality when it comes to winter fashion. This gentlewoman wears a very cozy looking quilted petticoat, longer sleeves and has a visible pocket.
The Marquise de Maintenon wears a jacket bodice and mantua over half-covered in fur in this print. Her bodice curves around over the top of her bustle. While the skirt draping in the next image was obscured, it is visible here - she wears a mantua.
