Another view of the Mary "Beetle" dress from season 1. Period Corsets boned bodice with sleeves. Salem costumers added tons of beetle wings to create this memorable scene stealer.
Here's Mary on set with the dress. The Cape is another "Married piece" with trims from two Victorian capes applied to the 17th century pattern. I think it works well together with the dress.

Mary wears a cape in the season premiere made of black patent leather with silver striped embroidery. The hood is trimmed in black fox. Her Chatelaine is mid 19th century sterling and the brooch on the stomacher is by Peruzzi of Boston circa 1900.
