Moroccan wedding blankets are entirely hand-weaved and hand-decorated taking weeks, months, and sometimes years to finish. Each mirrored sequin is sewed individually and is meant to reflect the evil eye and protect the new couple. They are gifted to the bride on her wedding day to wish her luck and protect her marriage from bad energy. The bride wears her blanket on her head on her wedding day, then uses it on the marital bed as a throw blanket and a beautiful decor piece.

Inspired by this beautiful culture we have created our version of Moroccan wedding blankets giving it a more boho chic look. Made on hand looms using cotton yarn by our team of skilled artisans these are hand tufted with beautiful designs. The fringes & sequin are sewn in the end to finish the throw. The fringing lace sewn in the end is also handmade by our team of women artisans! Fringes are 20-21 cm extra on all four sides
