About once a month I choose a student to receive the "positive postcard".  I actually mail a postcard to their house!  They love receiving mail from their teacher. Their parents especially love it...it's sure nice to know that their child is succeeding.

I plan to use something like this behavior think sheet in my class next year to help during our teacher-student conference after a behavior incident.

Unlike the stop signs, this will hold the students accountable for their behavior! If they don't know what they were doing then I will probably need to refresh them on the rules!
