Jekyll and Hyde Pub...Edinburgh, Scotland There was a man, that during the day was a locksmith and at night, robbed the homes he made keys for. He ultimately got caught and hung. He's name was Deacon Brodie which was an inspiration for the author of the story of "Jekyll and Hyde" There is a Deacon Brodie Pub that is also in Edinburgh. Which is also a Grand pub to put on a pub crawl....Cheers!

Edinburgh,Scotland 2003 320 (by Bruce Aleksander & Dennis Milam). Tolbooth Tavern

The Tollbooth Tavern, Edinburgh Scotland is part of the original Canongate Toolbooth which was built in 1591 the building was used for collecting tolls from travellers entering the city. The pub is haunted.

Legend says that the pub was named the Last Drop because this was where those condemned to die by hanging would have their last drink! The menu is not very extensive, but come here for some Scottish cuisine like neeps and tatties or classic fish and chips and you won't be disappointed.
