Capernaum Synagogue, Israel. I was there about 7 years ago.  Very interesting city where Peter's mother lived. Jesus preached in the temple.  Studied this at BSF this year.

Capernaum.  Located on the Sea of Galilee, Capernaum was the center of Jesus'Galilee ministry. Jesus lived here for a substantial peroid healing the sick, preaching in the synagogue, and performing miracles.

Capernaum. This village is on the northern side of Sea of Galilee, and was the center of the activities of Jesus and his town during that time. A grand 4th C  Ad Synagogue was excavated, which stood over the Synagogue from the time of Jesus.  It was also the home town of the apostles Peter, James, Andrew and John, and the tax collector Matthew.

Old Jerusalem's Golden (Beautiful) Gate - Blocked closed in 1541 by Ottoman Sultan Suleiman I to prevent the Messiah from entering Temple Mount (yeah, as if man can prevent God from doing anything).
