Happy Birthday to Norway! We are celebrating 17th of May, our Constitution Day. This year I decorated two different tablesetting ideas for my guests and blog followers. This year I used Spiraea cinera (Grefsheim) and branches of cherry for the table, for me the ultimate sign of spring in Norway. Clean white white crockery, napkins and tablecloth are beautiful to blue and red details. Fore more pictures, please visit my interior blog: http://anettewillemine.com/
Perfect Desserts to serve at the END of a Party or Dinner PARTY: | Fruit and Yogurt Parfait in a Wine/Cocktail Glass + Napkins tied around the stems of the glasses.
Norge -- Napkins are a big part of the culture, or at least they used to be. They made BEAUTIFUL napkins of very fine paper, Coffee & Baked goods were served at 4pm (like English Tea) followed by a nap -- in teensy villages where the end of day was 4pm. They had an understanding that the family life was important. & people needed to be home to maintain their homes, cook, be with people... Napkins -- makes it special.
