This…bird? Yes, definitely a bird. Reminds me of the "That bird is fat" post about a turtle.

The largest land turtle that ever existed was Testudo atlas (“Atlas tortoise”), also known as Colossochelys (“colossal turtle”). 8 feet long and 6 feet high, it probably weighed around 4 tons. Looking much like a modern Galápagos tortoise, this giant chelonian herbivore lived in the Pleistocene period—Like its modern relatives, T. atlas could probably retract its legs and head into its shell when threatened
