The other is designed for knitting back and forth. This version is seen in the main photo. While the back is open for easy on and off, I want to mention that the fin is MUCH easier to knit in the round, so don't be fooled into thinking you are getting out of that. A REALLY fun project! But not for scarf knitters, unless you are ready for an adventure! If you allow yourself lots of time, and take each part of it as it comes, I think you will love it. Sizes included: Small (2 to 6 years) Medium (6 to 10 years) Large (10 to 14 years) It would not be hard to size up for adults. Just make it a bit wider and longer. You don't need to change the snout or the fins sizes, unless you are making it for a really large person. Materials: US 11 circular needles in 2 lengths and from 30 to 40 ounces of worsted yarn.
