This is not Amethyst or any other natural crystal. It may be considered art perhaps, but definitely not an actual crystal. Purple Quartz like all minerals crystallize according to very exact and predictable angles and forms and this example violates them all. I keep seeing this posted at pinterest and I just wanted to let people know it is mislabeled. :) not attacking any individual or anything...
