Watching this episode for the first time was when I first began falling in love with Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

I remember this episode, "Lie To Me." Buffy had to put down her friend Ford. It was when she began to realize that the hardest part about being the Slayer was not the physical part.

"Here endeth the lesson." -Spike said it in between those two episodes, as well. When Buffy went to him to find out how he beat the two Slayers he killed (season 5 i think).

I never understood why Angel was better than Spike. Spike was a gentleman when he was human. Angel/Liam was a womanizing, crude, drunk who started fights and spent all his time in a tavern. Spike fought for his soul while Angel's was forced upon him. Spike is more of a man than Angel will ever be. Everyone was blind to that.
