Two-piece natural colored linen dress with green silk underslip. Linen fabric purchased in Cuba by donor and dress constructed by the Misses Leonard, St. Paul dressmakers. 1901-1902

SILK AFTERNOON DRESS with CORDED TRIM and TASSELS, c. rust ottoman having boned bodice with tucked upper sleeve trimmed in fancy black cord loops with knots and tassels, skirt having decorated front panel, hem bound in black velvet, glazed cotton lining.
gray faille silk high-neck gown, boned bodice with pleated black chiffon with sequins and crystal beads. Sleeves have two puffs, front and back. Undecorated silk skirt lined in polished cotton with velvet hem band.
A tranformation for the waist style introduced by designer Paul Poiret; from S shape in the left side to R shaple in the right side. It released the women waist, make them more confortable but not loosing their femiline look
