This HDB apartment is an excellent example of how subtle mix and match can be. What is interesting about the interior is that the designer opts for more modern flooring materials in the dining room, such as tiles, but still sticks to parquet in.
Repurposed Side Table - An old oil drum we found at a store in Rosebud, MO. Some clear silicone tubing for floor and Tabletop protection, and a glass tabletop all came together to make an awesome side table.
This room almost feels "upside down"- and it works. Light flooring (usually light ceiling), dark wall color (looks gorgeous yet a bit rustic), and wood toned ceiling (usually this is found on the floor) come together nicely.
