Teething Dolly pattern by Mishi Designs
In May 2017 I took all of my patterns down; I found a number if available online breavhing copyright. I’ve chosen not to put them back up as I don’t have time to provide pattern support. There are many fabulous patterns and great designers on Ravelry to support. There are other free patterns of a similar nature.
I've fallen in love with traditional Norwegian knitting patterns - especially mittens. I'm about to start my first pair this weekend. I've never done any colour work knitting before, so it will surely be a challenge. Image 1 - from here Image 2 - from the Selbu Folk Museum. Image 3 - from the book Selbuvotter: History of a Knitting Tradition, which is on my wish list. Look at this Selbu troll monument in Norway!
Generic Norwegian Mittens pattern by Adrian Bizilia
From the pattern description: The above mittens are just an example of what can be done with these blank charts. Get a pencil and fill in the squares as you see fit, then get knitting! Print the chart out at least twice so you can design different backs and palms. If you go over 7 or so stitches in one color, weave in the yarn you’re carrying, or else your fingers will snag the loops when you’re putting them on.
