Chauncey Leopardi — ‘Sandlot’ Kids Then And Now THEN: By the time Leopardi played the wisecracking Michael “Squints” Palledorous in ‘The Sandlot’ he already had quite a few acting credits under his belt. The then-12-year old had appeared in ‘Father of the Bride’ and a bunch of TV shows, including ‘The Commish’ and ‘Evening Shade.’
The Sandlot (1993). Scotty Smalls moves to a new neighborhood and wants to learn to play baseball. He joins the neighborhood baseball kids and has adventures with, treehouse sleep-ins, the desirous lifeguard at the local pool, the snooty rival ball team and fun with chewing tobacco and a legendary ball-eating dog called "The Beast".
