Winter 2008

This collection is inspired by the movie “The City of Lost Children”. The movie portrays children's courageous opposition when adults try to steal their dreams. The costumes are by Jean Paul Gaultier and are characterized by naive touches. The collection is also inspired by Amelia Earhart, a mystical woman in a male-dominated world. The shapes in this collection fluctuates from naive to conservative. The materials and colors allows for associations to the vulnerable and heroic in both stories.
