Sheltering Tree - Four Seasons
Finally got a chance to play with the Sheltering Tree stamp set. This was one of my favorites from the Occasions Catalog and the first stamp set I received was defective so had to wait for a replacement. These are the only cards I have made so far with this set and my first attempt. The tree is stamped with black stazon. The red glimmer paper heart was made using the heart in the Owl Builder punch. I used Chocolate Chip for this tree trunk. I think it is too dark. Tried Baked Brown Sugar on…

Where I Come From....FMS293
Where I come from daisies grow wild alongside the roads.....at the edge of the fields.......or along a fence line. I don't know anyone who actually plants daisies....they just sort of appear on their own! Where I come from this traffic light (about a mile north of my house) is the last light you encounter before you cross "The Blue Line".....meaning you have entered the Adirondack Mountains. A few miles later you would arrive at the Great Sacandaga Lake (where our camp is) and a few more…

The Sassy Scrapper
Hello there. I wanted to share a tip with you that I came up with while trying to put my Stampin' Up! wood mount stamps back in the wood mount case when it's a tight fit. (Picture below) For example, the Work of Art stamp set. It's a very, very tight fit and there seems to be only one way the stamps fit back in the case. It was like putting together a jig-saw puzzle and I was getting frustrated. So...... out of that frustration came my solution and I'd like to share that with you. First, I'd…

Warm Birthday Wishes
Happy Hump Day peeps!!! Today I am sharing another card I made awhile back using a tossed aside image found in my scrap pile. This flower comes from the Stampin Up Blooming with Kindness stamp set. The base of the card is Crumb cake and the DSP on here is from the Festival of Prints pack. I added some very vanilla satin ribbon and three brown…
