Senior basketball photography

Miami born, LA-based Carlos Serrao found his love for photography by documenting the local skateboard scene in his home state of Florida. From this beginning he garnered local hero status for his image making, pushing him to make the move to LA to pursue photography as his main profession.

Basketball is an incredibly popular sport. Millions of spectators watch championship games on TV and just as many root for their own smaller high school teams and leagues. Everyone wants to be part of a winning team so if you are a player, you want to give your fans something to really cheer about.

It was another star studded day shooting basketball portraits of the top 40 NBA draft picks for Panini America during a photoshoot in Tarrytown, New York
