The Arrival..Edward IV enters London through Bishopsgate to reclaim the throne on the 11th April 1471. Following the Earl of Warwick's change of allegiance and the restoration of Henry VI, Edward had been forced to flee to Flanders and the story of his return, culminating in his victories at the battles of Barnet and Tewkesbury, is told in 'The Arrival', a chronicle written soon after the tumultuous events of 1471.
