Mat Hoffman, Edmond native.  An article in Ride Magazine wrote, “What’s left to say about a guy who ignored all established limits and redefined vert riding - at age 15.”  Mat Hoffman is featured in the Gaylord-Pickens Oklahoma Heritage Museum in Individualsim.

For years people painted on this bridge without getting into trouble. This was a billboard to tell the world who you loved, which High School football team was the best, or even to advertise your business. But it was torn down in the mid 1990's.
