Layers of ink: I covered the tag with foil tape and pressed it down in between and inside the shapes as well as possible. The tag was completely inked with alcohol inks (pitch black, juniper and ginger), letting it dry a short while and then going over it a second time. Let dry completely, I removed most of the ink with steel wool, until I was happy with the result. Black eyelets were set inside some of the gears.
