Black and white modern low vessel

This is a listing for a black and white contemporary dish. It its form it is somewhere in between a low vase and a platter. It is constructed from relatively thin slabs of low fire clay and treated with underglaze and glaze application. The glaze used on this item is food safe. While I would not advise to expose this dish to moisture for prolonged periods of time, storing and displaying fruit, nuts or candy would be perfectly fine. The dimensions of this dish are: 2 3\/4 x 9 1\/2 x 5 1\/2"

Beate Andersen...big bowl..

From my visit at Silkeborg Bad...see here: Jane Reumert, Beate Andersen, Gunhild Aaberg and Bodil Manz are my absolute favorites among danish ceramists.... Beate Andersen makes bowls with patterns inspired from many cultures.....and she does it in such a astonishing way...she surely knows what she´s doing..... see more of her work here:
