Woman's dress. The Kochi are nomadic herders and gypsies and their clothing is particularly flamboyant. Their dresses, brought back to the West, are those that identified Afghanistan in the 1970s hippie era. This dress is of green silk with sari border. The bodice is heavily covered with coins and beadwork, including jul-i-peron discs; while these have an ancient history, the silver cording on the hem is modern.
