I didn’t know what normal was anymore. I developed diastasis recti (aka abdominal separation). This gave me the appearance of what is referred to as “the mom pooch,” and I was struggling not only with the way I looked after giving birth but more so the way I felt. 😔 ☹️ 😞 I was so used to being strong and having the time to dedicate to fitness. 🏃♀️ 💪 To be honest, I was completely overwhelmed with everything, especially when I returned to work. After I gave birth to my first daughter, 👶 I remember getting back into fitness 🏃♀️ again and I actually peed my pants during one of my first exercise classes. 😳 A friend of mine actually joked with me and said... "Welcome To Motherhood!" While I can appreciate what she was trying to add some humor, I'm here to say that if you struggle with peeing your pants post baby, this does have to be your "norm." 👉 Check out my pelvic health quiz.👈
