Sapele Desk No.1 By Kirby Furniture
Desk No.1 is a highly detailed and functional writing desk featuring traditional joinery that has been lost in today’s fast built, throw away furniture. Although there have been multiple made, no two are the same and are unique in their own way. Each piece has its own unique grain pattern and may contain bow ties on cracks or patched knots. Every piece of lumber is picked intentionally to create the most beautiful piece of furniture. This piece is designed and built by Steven Kirby out of Cincinnati, Ohio. Desk No.1 features two soft close drawers with green felted drawer bottoms, high profiled edge, and dovetail joinery.
