Today's pose for my #alignmentguide is ✨Boat Pose | Navasana✨ DOS: • engage your core • hug your legs together • balance on sitting bones • lift the chest • relax the shoulders • keep your spine long • bend your knees when straightening the legs isn't happening for you at first DON'TS: • don't round your back • don't tense your neck • don't lean back onto your spine PROPS: • use a strap to straighten your legs • support yourself with the hands behind the hips if needed Yoga Today, Posture Correction, Good Posture, Hug You, Pose Reference

Like me #weighttrain #middlesplits = my nemesis I've been trying mostly to work on my mid-gap flexibility since the fall ... I feel like my femur bones are just spinning like that. It starts to feel like a comfortable stretch, so I thought I would say how I usually practice this pose and teach it to the students: with a block under my tailbone to create a slight arc, and with 3 pounds Weight on each leg - make sure #flexibility #middlesplits #mostly #nemesis #since #trying #weighttrain Sport Motivation, Health Exercise
