John Deere A1 armored tractor of 1941. This prototype for an armored gun tractor featured three armored compartments: one for the driver in back, and two rotating units suspended in front of the drive tires each housing a .30 MG and a gunner. It was rejected after trials because of poor visibility for all three crew, and minimal space for the machine guns and their gunners.
Custom truck builder Paul Nutzfahrzeuge has converted a Mercedes-Benz Arocs truck with crane for special application in the energy industry. It is an Arocs 4151 AK and was converted from a four axle truck by removing the rearmost axle.
