Magic Sauce - I call this the magic sauce recipe. In part, because it makes everything it touches shimmy with deliciousness. It's magic like that. Technically, it's a riff on a chimichurri sauce - one that has veered off the rails in a big way. - from 101Cookbooks.com

Magic Sauce

magic sauce - olive oil base with fresh herbs, garlic and lemon. You can cook eggs in it, I drizzle it on soups. Makes baked potatoes better than usual. Drizzle on roasted veges.

Oil is a component in many salad dressings but by no means is it essential. This recipe is made with vinegar, mustard and herbs, for a piquant result.

A good salad dressing recipe does not have to be oil-based and some people like to dress their salads with simply a squeeze of lemon or lime juice.
