1) cut out 10-15 cm square and attach the gusset in the corner between sleeve and bodice part. 2) attach the opposite corner to the other side of sleeve/bodice. 3) choose the center of one side of the gusset, fold and finish the hem to the corner, fold over the next side and continue until all four sides are finished. 4) they should now overlap each other. 5) the natural bias of the gusset will help the movability of your arm
