[Recipe] The Best Seafood Chowder
If you love seafood, you will love this recipe. My Grandmother makes it at Christmas and the whole family cannot get enough. It is not low in fat nor is it packed full of fillers (i.e. potatoes). Rather than mess with the perfect family recipe, I decided to share it as it is originally made.
Best Burger and French Fry Seasoning Makes about 6oz 1/4 cup salt 2 Tablespoons paprika 1 Tablespoon garlic powder 1 Tablespoon garlic salt 1/2 Tablespoon cumin 1/2 Tablespoon pepper 1/2 Tablespoon dried basil 1/2 Tablespoon dried parsley 1 teaspoon chili powder 1/2 teaspoon celery salt Directions 1. Pour all ingredients into a jar. Seal the jar and shake until all spices are well combined.

Seafood Chowder - this was a great recipe. I used half the amount of liquid as this was way to much soup for us. I used 1/2 large onion, 2 celery stalks, 2 potatoes, 1 package prawns, 1 can crab, 1 can whole baby clams, 8 large scallops cut into quarters, 0.5-1 lb halibut cut into cubes and some smoked salmon I had.
