Sunflower Decor DIY | Sunflower Decor DIY. Keep an eye out for those pinwheels! | By We Craft Around | Hey, guys. It's Beth. Today, I'll be using one of these flower pinwheels this burlap canvas and sunflower fabric from Dollar Tree. I started by removing all of the petals from the pinwheel with some wire cutters. Painting them with mineral chalk paint by Weaverly and I just did one coat on the front. I also did two coats on the back but you don't really need to because you won't see them. And then I opened up my sunflower fabric. Again this was from Dollar Tree and I took each one of my little petals and traced it out with a pen and cut those pieces out. And then I took tacky glue which I get from Dollar Tree and put some of it on the front of the petal and brushed it covering the entire thing. It is really thick. You can use Mod Podge but it would be really wet and it would take a long time to dry. So I ended up using the tacky glue. And just placed down my fabric right on top of there and smooth it out. And I did that to all of them. After I had them all covered I just went around and trimmed up the excess fabric. And I took nautical rope which is also from Dollar Tree. I measured it around one of the petals to make sure it was long enough and then I opened it up so I'm actually going to use there's four strands wrapped together so just use one strand for each petal. I tied it in a knot just to keep it together and then hot glued it around the edge of each petal. And I just made sure to twist it. And then hook glue and place it down. Next I take another piece of nautical rope and I put some hot glue on the end just so it's easier to work with when I'm trying to use this first piece. I fold the piece of it down and hot glue it right onto itself. And then just put more hot glue around the edge and just keep wrapping it around until I have the size that I want. Once I have it large enough I just halt glue the end of it to the back. Cut off the excess. And then I take each of my petals and trim up the ends of them just getting off the excess rope that I had on there. And then I take my petals and place them on the burlap canvas which is a new item at Dollar Tree. And then I place my little rope circle in the center. I'm just moving them around, getting them how I want them. And then once I have them set, I put some hot glue around on each of the petals and place it down my circle. Once I have that glued down I go around just put a little bit of glue on each petal underneath the ones that they're overlapping to glue them all down. And then I take the whole thing and lift it up. And put some hot glue on the back. And since it's a burlap canvas it was going through the back. So I just added a cut out circle. Which I'll probably go back and paint. Just because I don't like it unfinished. But that is it. Super cute and easy. Thank you guys so much for watching.

pink. You can leave it as is. I'm taking a pool noodle also
from the Dollar Tree. I'm just going to cut a little section
of it and then cut straight down so I can wrap it around.
If you want to cover up more of your wheel, you can make a
bigger piece but I just wanted just a littl

They have on the wreath section. I painted mine pink. You can leave it as is. I'm taking a pool noodle also from the Dollar Tree. I'm just going to cut a little section of it and then cut straight down so I can wrap it around. If you want to cover up more of your wheel, you can make a bigger piece but I just wanted just a little section of mine. It's going to be hard to curve so just to make this easy for you. You can cut it into sections and then just glue it close. Let that dry and then this way will be easier because we're putting so many flowers on it. You won't really see that gap right there. I'm going to take some faux florals from the Dollar Tree. You can get them from Walmart from a whole bunch of different places. I'm going to pop them off the stem and then put them in. You can poke little holes in your pool noodle to make it easier for them to go in and then I'm also popping off the greenery part and then just adding it around. Add a mix of florals. You can do this in any color you want. Like I said, that's why this is great because you can do this for any season just based on what you want it to look like. Uh you can also add ribbons and different things. I'm not the best bow maker but this is just a simple easy bow. I just wanted to show you. You can make and pop that on there. I didn't add a lot of ribbon to mine but you can and it'll give it just another effect. Make it look nice and fuller. You can add just whatever you want. You can add pieces. This is great for like Christmas time if you wanted to do something like this and then add in little ornaments and stuff but we're doing this right now for summer and for spring. So, I have these metal butterflies. They're in the Dollar Tree. So, they have these with hooks without hooks. I just grab these two right here and I'm just going to put those on just hot gluing them in place. They are called wall decor. So, but you can use this right now for the wreath and I just think it gives it just another cute little detail because they are metal. They're pretty. They do have paper ones too if you want to grab and then I'm taking a piece of ribbon to hang this. You can just hang it right there on the pieces but just to give it just another little extra detail and this is how it came out. It is something so easy and so simple that you can do. You can customize it to fit in with your style, your home decor. You can add in different little pieces but I hope this gave you some inspiration to go out and make yourself your own little custom wreath hanger for the season. A super easy dried floral wreath DIY that you can do. This is great for spring, for summer. You can do this for other seasons too but okay, so I have some faux florals from Dollar Tree. I have these pretty ones from Michael's. They were on sale and then I have these right here. I got these at a clearance and they were like three different types for ninety-nine cent. So, I'm just going to take them a little at a time. I have this ring. You can get a set of these rings at Dollar Tree but I have them ring and then I'm going to just start tying them with twine. You can use something different to tie it. Something thinner if you want. But I feel like the twine works great. You don't want to take too much at a time because you want to be able to loop it around. And then like I said I'm just taking the pieces one by one or two by two depending on how you would like to arrange your wreath and then I'm just going down just a little bit and wrapping the bottom of each piece around. So you don't want to wrap too much because it'll be big and bulky. You want to just do a little bit at a time going down gradually and just make sure you get it nice and tight so that nothing you know comes off later the great thing about the faux florals is that you know you can just pop the pieces off so you don't have to worry about cutting those or anything like that so once you're done with one side you can do like what I said as much or as little as you want you can just go on to the other side and just repeat the same process over just taking the pieces as you see fit and tying them you don't want to do it too far down on the stems of the pieces because then they'll just flop around so you want to do it as close as possible so that you have a nice snug look and then once you're done you could just tie it off and snip off the extra stems but I wanted to continue the look with the twine so I'm wrapping those stems around with the twine I'm going to go around from one side to the other side wrapping them on nice and snug and then this is how it came out make sure to along on That's So Trendy DIY on YouTube, on Facebook so that you can get more fun inspirational DIYs.

Dollar Tree Door Hanger DIY | In case you missed this one. Dollar Tree Welcome Door Hanger | By We Craft Around | Hey guys it's Beth. Today I'll
be using this buffalo check vinyl and faux leather from
Dollar Tree to make a welcome hanger. First thing I did was
remove the hanger and paint it with one coat of white chalk
paint. And painted the galvanized word and I did two
coats on that. And then use my heating tool to dry them both.
Once the sign was dry I took my buffalo check vinyl and just
cut a piece of that off that was a little bit bigger than
the hanger. And then remove the backing. And I tried to make
sure it was just straight as possible so the buffalo check
wouldn't be crooked once it was hung up. So once I got it just
about straight. I just started in sections and then removed

And painted the galvanized word and I did two coats on that. And then use my heating tool to dry them both. Once the sign was dry I took my buffalo check vinyl and just cut a piece of that off that was a little bit bigger than the hanger. And then remove the backing. And I tried to make sure it was just straight as possible so the buffalo check wouldn't be crooked once it was hung up. So once I got it just about straight. I just started in sections and then removed the backing and just smoothed it out with my hands. And then just trimmed off the excess with scissors. And after it was all trimmed up I just poked the holes where the hanger goes. And then took the leather. Opened that up and lined it up and kind of used the buffalo check lines as my guide. And hot glued the very top of that down. Getting it as straight as possible. And then just flip that leather over and then just kept hug gluing in sections until I had it completely covered. And then for the leather I just trimmed that off with scissors as well. And then once that was on there I just put a little bit of hot glue on the welcome word. And then place that right down on the black leather. And then the next thing I did was just reattach the hanger. Next thing I'm doing is making a bow. So what I did was measured out 8 inches. And then folded it over. And then from that fold measured out another eight inches. Folded that again to meet in the middle. And then once you have it met in the middle you have like a big loop and you just take your ribbon and wrap it around itself Just keep wrapping it around until I had about four loops on either end. So you wrap it around four times. And then I just trimmed off the excess kind of at an angle. And then from there I take my scissors and trying to get it as centered as possible. Cut a triangle. In the center there. Not too far in just a little bit. So you'll have that little space. And then you do the same thing on the other side. And once you have both of your triangles cut out on either side take a pipe cleaner. And just pinch it in the center with the pipe cleaner and then twist it to tighten the pipe cleaner. And then for now I just set that aside so then I can work on another one. This one I did a little bit bigger. I measured out nine inches and then folded from that fold measured out another nine inches met in the center and then took the ribbon and wrapped it around itself. Again doing it about four times. Cut out my triangles on the sides. And then took the pipe cleaner to attach them. And then once you have it you open it up like this. And then I took my first one I made and I just took that pipe cleaner that was attaching it. Wrapped it around the second set I made and just twisted it in the back so that connects the two of them together. And then once they were connected I just opened up all of the ribbon. So it was nice and full. So once it was all opened up it looked like that. And then I wanted to add some tails. So I took both of those same ribbons. And just took a long piece and then kind of twisted it in the center so then you'll have the design on the same side. And from that twist on both of those in the center of that twist I made. Just attached it to the pipe cleaners in the back and twisted the pipe cleaners to attach those as well. And then I just trimmed off the excess pipe cleaners in the back. Attached it with hot glue just putting a decent amount on the back of the ribbon and the pipe cleaner. I'm just holding it there for a minute until it was dry. And then last thing I did was trimmed up the little tails to cut them above the black leather. And that is it for this project. It was really easy to do. Thank you guys so much for watching and I hope you enjoyed this video.
